Cyprus is an open and free market, which means that any person (resident or non-citizen) can buy or start a new business. Company registration has a fair cost as it always has to go through a lawyer or another professional. On the positive side, there is no minimum capital required, no need for physical offices and one can change the name of the company or can register several trade names and/or trade-marks which are the property of the company (Synthesis, 2014).
