After the sale has been made and the product has been delivered, there is still work to do. After-sales or post-sales service refers to the processes that ensure your customers are satisfied with the products and services that have been supplied. Here are some key tips to help you get this right.

 

The customer is always right: an old saying but very much still a relevant one. If the customer has received a broken or damaged product they should be refunded or offered an exchange. Always make the customer feel comfortable and listen to their complaints.

 

Offer support at all times: ensure that the customer is aware of your post-sales support service. This is especially important if you are selling a technological product or service.

 

Take feedback: criticism is hard to take but helps you and the business improve. Always reach out to customers asking for feedback on the product and service so you can make it better next time.
